Kohima, NL: 2 die, 3 hurt in road accident in Nagaland on 12th April 2018

Kohima Apr 13 (UNI) At least two persons were killed and three seriously injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling plunged below the National Highway-2 near Indira Gandhi Stadium here last evening.

Official sources today said that though the actual cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained, however the accident took place when the car, driven by a female, lost track and fell down about 80 feet below the road. They were reportedly coming from Tseminyu after attending a wedding ceremony. The two deceased, both male, have been identified as Nyiyalo Kath (45) and Meto Kath (17) sources said.

Both the deceased and the injured, all women, hail from Tesophenyu village under Tseminyu sub-division in Kohima district. The injured females, including the driver, were rushed to Naga Hospital in Kohima.Their condition was stated to be critical, sources added.
